Description
A delightful and refreshing lemon basil sorbet perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the basil leaves and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to remove the basil leaves.
- Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Once the sorbet is firm, scoop and serve.

- For a smoother texture, blend the mixture before freezing.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
