Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder
  • ½ cup hot water (about 175°F)
  • ½ cup warm milk (oat, almond, whole, or 2%)
  • 12 tsp lavender simple syrup or ½ tsp dried culinary lavender
  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice (for iced version)

Instructions

  2. Whisk the Matcha: Sift matcha into a bowl. Add hot water and whisk until frothy.
  3. Sweeten It: Stir in lavender syrup or preferred sweetener.
  4. Combine and Serve: Pour milk into matcha. Stir gently. For iced, serve over ice in a tall glass.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle dried lavender on top for garnish.

Notes

To make lavender syrup: Simmer 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 2 Tbsp dried lavender buds for 5 minutes. Let steep and strain.

For a diabetic-friendly version, substitute honey/maple syrup with stevia, monk fruit, allulose, or erythritol.
