Description
A creamy, floral, and earthy latte made with ceremonial-grade matcha and lavender syrup. Perfect hot or iced with any milk of your choice.

- 1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder
- ½ cup hot water (about 175°F)
- ½ cup warm milk (oat, almond, whole, or 2%)
- 1–2 tsp lavender simple syrup or ½ tsp dried culinary lavender
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Ice (for iced version)
Instructions
- Steep the Lavender: Warm milk and steep dried lavender buds for 5–7 minutes. Strain.
- Whisk the Matcha: Sift matcha into a bowl. Add hot water and whisk until frothy.
- Sweeten It: Stir in lavender syrup or preferred sweetener.
- Combine and Serve: Pour milk into matcha. Stir gently. For iced, serve over ice in a tall glass.
- Optional: Sprinkle dried lavender on top for garnish.
Notes
To make lavender syrup: Simmer 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 2 Tbsp dried lavender buds for 5 minutes. Let steep and strain.
For a diabetic-friendly version, substitute honey/maple syrup with stevia, monk fruit, allulose, or erythritol.
