- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup fresh key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- Whipped cream, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.

- For a more intense lime flavor, use fresh key limes if available.
- Make sure to chill the pie thoroughly for the best texture.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
