Description

Delicious and refreshing Key Lime Pie Mason Jar Desserts, perfect for any occasion. Easy to make and no baking required.


Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 7 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup bottled lime juice
  • Zest of 1-2 limes (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Combine softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in another bowl and mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add bottled lime juice and lime zest to the cream cheese mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until completely combined.
  5. Prepare the graham cracker crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter in a separate bowl until crumbly.
  6. Layer the bottom of mason jars with a generous tablespoon of the graham cracker mixture.
  7. Spoon a layer of the key lime filling over the graham cracker layer.
  8. Repeat the process with another layer of graham cracker crumbs and then key lime filling until jars are full, finishing with the filling.
  9. Chill the jars in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes or overnight to let the flavors meld together and the filling firm up.

Notes

For a tropical touch, garnish with whipped cream and additional lime zest before serving. Consider using sugar-free alternatives for a diabetic-friendly option.
