Ingredients

  • 1 package of mini hot dogs
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, diced jalapenos, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a mini hot dog on the wide end of each triangle and add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  5. Roll the dough around the hot dog and cream cheese mixture, starting from the wide end.
  6. Place the wrapped pigs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

  • For extra spice, use spicy jalapenos or add hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture.
