Description

A comforting and cheesy pasta bake featuring Italian sausage and spinach, perfect for an easy dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz mostaccioli pasta
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the mostaccioli pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
  4. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sausage, spinach, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
