Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.

- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in the currants or sultanas until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
