Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
  5. Pour in the Irish whiskey and let it simmer for a few minutes to reduce.
  6. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
