Description

A delicious and healthy side dish featuring sweet honey glazed carrots and crisp green beans.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the sliced carrots.
  2. Cook for about 5 minutes, then add the green beans and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until both are tender.
  3. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
  4. Add the butter and honey to the pot, stirring until the butter is melted and the vegetables are well coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve warm.
