Description

A delicious and nutritious quiche made with sweet potatoes and ground turkey, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and grated
  • 1 cup ground turkey
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 pre-made pie crust


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and onion over medium heat until the turkey is browned and cooked through.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  4. Add the grated sweet potato, cooked turkey mixture, and cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pre-made pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
