Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of grape juice
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
  • 5 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare your jars and lids by sterilizing them in boiling water.
  2. In a large pot, combine grape juice, lemon juice, and fruit pectin. Stir well.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Add the granulated sugar all at once and stir until dissolved.
  5. Bring the mixture back to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
  7. Pour the hot jelly into the prepared jars, leaving a little space at the top.
  8. Seal the jars with the lids and process in a boiling water bath for 5-10 minutes.
  9. Let the jars cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.
