Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, honey or maple syrup, and almond or peanut butter.
  3. Add in the chopped nuts, dried fruit, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
