Description

A comforting and savory pie made with eggs, cream, cheese, and diced ham baked in a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought 9-inch pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup diced ham (smoked or honey-baked)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped spinach or bell peppers


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and gently press to fit.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk together in a bowl until fluffy. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold in diced ham, shredded cheddar, and optional vegetables if using.
  5. Pour mixture into prepared crust.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown on top.
  7. Allow quiche to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Using fresh ingredients enhances the flavor. Allow to cool slightly for better slicing.
