Ingredients

  • 1 round Brie cheese
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the pastry.
  4. Spread the raspberry jam over the top of the Brie.
  5. Fold the pastry over the cheese, sealing it well.
  6. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
