Description

A vibrant and flavorful dip made from ripe avocados, lime juice, and fresh herbs, perfect for gatherings or a healthy snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork until it reaches your desired level of creaminess.
  3. Add lime juice, kosher salt, and chopped cilantro.
  4. Stir in diced onion, tomato, and jalapeño (if using).
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, lime juice, or black pepper as needed.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.

Notes

Best enjoyed immediately. To store, sprinkle lime juice on top to prevent browning.
