- 1 batch Pizza dough
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Assorted Toppings of choice (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
- Brush one side of the dough with olive oil.
- Place the oiled side down on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
- Brush the top side of the dough with olive oil and flip it over.
- Quickly spread tomato sauce over the cooked side and add cheese and desired toppings.
- Close the grill lid and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from grill, top with fresh basil, slice, and serve.
Notes
For best results, use a pizza stone or grill mat to prevent the dough from sticking.
