Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, rosemary, and black pepper.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into muffin-sized portions.
- Place the portions into a greased muffin tin and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
