- 2 pounds of potatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter

Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- In the last 5 minutes of boiling, add the garlic cloves.
- Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot.
- Add the butter and milk to the pot.
- Mash the potatoes and garlic together until smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
