Description

A creamy and flavorful rice dish infused with the rich taste of French onion and butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the rice to the skillet and stir to coat the rice with the onion mixture.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  7. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
