- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the rice to the skillet and stir to coat the rice with the onion mixture.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
