A sweet and cheerful treat that combines the flavors of strawberry shortcake in a fun puppy chow form.
Ingredients

- 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract to the melted mixture and stir well.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently stir until all the cereal is coated.
- In a large zip-top bag, combine the powdered sugar and freeze-dried strawberries. Add the coated cereal to the bag and shake until evenly coated.
- Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Feel free to substitute other freeze-dried fruits for a different flavor.
- For a festive touch, add sprinkles before serving.
