Description

A delicious and savory pie filled with shrimp and cheddar cheese, perfect for seafood lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté the onion and bell pepper until soft.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Spread the shrimp and vegetable mixture evenly in the pie crust.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the shrimp and vegetables.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
