- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and bell pepper until soft.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink.
- In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Spread the shrimp and vegetable mixture evenly in the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the shrimp and vegetables.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
