Description

A simple and delicious recipe for making creamy egg custard.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into custard cups or a baking dish.
  5. Place the cups in a baking pan and fill the pan with hot water halfway up the sides of the cups.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
