Description

Delicious and easy-to-make pinwheels filled with savory ham and melted cheddar cheese, wrapped in flaky puff pastry.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 8 ounces of sliced ham
  • 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
  3. Lay down slices of ham and sprinkle cheddar cheese on each piece.
  4. Roll up the pastry tightly and seal the edges.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Can be prepared ahead of time and frozen for later use. Ensure pastry is fully thawed before working with it.
