Description

Deliciously crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these deep-fried strawberry cheesecake pies are a delightful treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package of pie crusts
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, chopped strawberries, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  3. Place a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each circle.
  4. Fold the crust over and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the pies in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.
