Description

A delightful bread recipe that incorporates dandelions for a unique flavor and nutritional boost.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dandelion greens, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped dandelion greens.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing and serving.
