Instructions
- Combine cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Slice the cucumber into thin, even rounds, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
- Trim the crusts off the bread slices to create neat, beautiful shapes.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture generously onto one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the cucumber slices evenly over half of the bread slices.
- Top the cucumber-covered slices with the other slice of bread, cream cheese side down.
- Press down gently to secure the sandwiches.
- Cut the sandwiches into quarters (triangles or fingers) for easy serving.
- Arrange the sandwiches on a serving platter, decorating with fresh dill if desired.
