- 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices of bread
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Combine softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the slices of bread.
- Layer cucumber slices on half of the bread slices.
- Top with lettuce leaves if desired, then cover with the remaining bread slices.
- Cut sandwiches into halves or quarters and serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Avoid using wet cucumbers to prevent sogginess.
