Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Arrange the meatballs on top of the onions.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth and French onion soup mix, then pour over the meatballs.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
