- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated tortellini
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour the Alfredo sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken in the crockpot.
- Add the tortellini, Parmesan cheese, and frozen peas to the crockpot.
- Stir to combine and cover again, cooking for an additional 30 minutes until the tortellini is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding garlic or Italian seasoning.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
