Crockpot Chicken Alfredo Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated tortellini
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour the Alfredo sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken in the crockpot.
  5. Add the tortellini, Parmesan cheese, and frozen peas to the crockpot.
  6. Stir to combine and cover again, cooking for an additional 30 minutes until the tortellini is tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding garlic or Italian seasoning.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
