Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of ciabatta bread
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • Extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat the marinated chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Toast the ciabatta bread until crispy.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by spreading Caesar dressing on the bread, adding the crispy chicken, and topping with chopped romaine lettuce and extra Parmesan.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can fry the chicken instead of baking.
  • Feel free to add additional toppings like tomatoes or bacon.
