Description
Delightful bites of salmon coated in a crispy panko breadcrumb crust, served with a creamy and spicy Bang Bang sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for pan-searing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to make the Bang Bang sauce. Set aside.
- Season the salmon pieces with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each piece in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko bread crumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-sear the salmon bites for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.
- Serve the salmon bites drizzled with the Bang Bang sauce and garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For best results, use fresh salmon and do not overcrowd the skillet. Adjust spice levels in the sauce by controlling the amount of sriracha.
