Description
A delicious and visually stunning potato torte infused with balsamic vinegar and fresh thyme.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the potato mixture in a greased round baking dish, overlapping the slices.
- If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese between the layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

- For extra flavor, add garlic or onion to the potato layers.
