Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  6. Add the rice and stir for a minute to toast it slightly.
  7. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  9. Stir in the heavy cream and return the chicken to the skillet.
  10. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
