- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions
- Cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion, carrots, and celery, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.

Notes
For a thicker chowder, mash some of the potatoes after cooking and stir back in. Use fresh herbs to enhance flavor.
