This creamy and crispy hamburger casserole combines ground beef, egg noodles, green beans, and cream of mushroom soup, all enveloped in a melty layer of cheddar cheese and topped with crispy breadcrumbs, perfect for family dinners.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked egg noodles
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Mix together the cooked beef, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cooked egg noodles, and half of the cheddar cheese in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top (if using).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added texture, consider using crushed chips instead of breadcrumbs.
