- 1 pound Chicken Breast (Boneless)

- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 medium Onion
- 8 ounces Cremini Mushrooms
- 2 cloves Fresh Garlic (Minced)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Full-Fat Sour Cream
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet; cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- Sauté the chopped onion in the same skillet for about 3-4 minutes, until softened.
- Add the cremini mushrooms and cook until they’re browned, about 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- Pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
- Add the Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce; mix well to combine.
- Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream, warming it through without boiling.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
- Simmer the stroganoff for a few minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve over your choice of noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes, and enjoy!
