Description

Delicious cheddar biscuits filled with savory crab meat, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the crab meat and green onions.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Old Bay seasoning to the crab mixture.
