Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup crushed cookies (like Oreos)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture, then mix in flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread crushed cookies and cocoa powder evenly over it.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
