Description

A delicious and fluffy breakfast option featuring cloud-like eggs topped with savory blue cheese and crispy bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  3. Separate the egg whites from the yolks, placing the whites in a mixing bowl.
  4. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold in the crumbled blue cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spoon the whipped egg whites into cloud shapes.
  7. Make a small indentation in the center of each cloud and carefully place an egg yolk in each.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the egg whites are golden and the yolks are set to your liking.
  9. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with crumbled bacon, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can omit the bacon or use turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • Serve with a side of fresh fruit for a complete meal.
