Description

A creamy, cheesy baked potato dish that evokes nostalgia for family gatherings and festive celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until just simmering.
  4. Layer the potato slices in a greased baking dish with butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the heated cream over the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle Gruyère and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
