- 4 slices thick brioche or challah
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or neutral oil, for frying
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread filling between two slices of brioche like a sandwich.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture for 10–15 seconds per side.
- Cook in a buttered skillet over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes per side.
- Coat each toast in cinnamon-sugar mixture while still hot.
Notes
For deeper flavor, add nutmeg or cardamom to the egg mixture. Serve with strawberries or dulce de leche for an extra treat.
