Instructions
- Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until well combined.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
- Dip each slice of Challah in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
- Place the coated bread in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar, and drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
Use day-old Challah for better absorption of the egg mixture. Don’t rush the cooking for ideal texture.
