Description

A delicious and healthy recipe for chipotle salmon tacos that are packed with flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chipotle sauce, olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the salmon fillets with the chipotle mixture.
  4. Grill the salmon for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. While the salmon is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  7. Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Assemble the tacos by placing the salmon, shredded cabbage, and avocado on each tortilla.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more chipotle sauce.
  • These tacos can be served with a side of black beans or rice.
