A delicious and hearty casserole made with tater tots, chili, and cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 bag of frozen tater tots
- 2 cans of chili (with or without beans)
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chili, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread half of the tater tots in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- Pour the chili mixture over the tater tots.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chili mixture.
- Layer the remaining tater tots on top of the cheese.
- Top with the remaining cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add toppings like jalapeños or green onions for extra flavor.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a spicier version, use spicy chili or add hot sauce.
