Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package (12 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped celery and onion, and sauté until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, sage, thyme, and black pepper.
  4. Add the stuffing mix and milk to the chicken mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
