Description

A comforting blend of chicken, rice, and broccoli in a creamy sauce, topped with cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen, lightly steamed)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional topping: 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Optional topping: 1 tablespoon melted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, rice, broccoli, condensed soup, milk, 1 cup of cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top. If using, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. For freezing, wrap tightly to maintain quality; it can last up to 2 months.
