Description

Deliciously crispy and cheesy macaroni and cheese balls made in the air fryer, inspired by the Cheesecake Factory.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Dip each ball into the egg, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Place the macaroni and cheese balls in the basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add spices like garlic powder or paprika to the cheese mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before air frying.
  • Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
