- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg

- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Heat milk, water, and butter until warm.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and add egg.
- Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise for 60 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, strawberries, and vanilla in a bowl for the filling.
- Roll out dough, cut into squares, and place filling inside.
- Pinch to seal the edges of the buns.
- Place buns on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
