- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- Top each chicken breast with slices of mozzarella and tomatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
