Description

A delightful twist on traditional cannoli, these cookies are filled with sweet ricotta and chocolate chips, making them a perfect treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the ricotta cheese and mini chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Let the cookies cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
